Though there are many types of surgical procedures such as excisional hemorrhoidectomy, doppler-guided, Stapled hemorrhoidectomy, usually two common types of surgical procedures are recommended by doctors to treat hemorrhoids. They are: hemorrhoidectomy and hemorrhoidopexy. The former procedure is more traditional than the latter and provides permanent relief to patients. Whereas the second one or procedure for prolapsed hemorrhoids is considered to provide when there is less postoperative pain. It results faster recovery than conventional hemorrhoid surgery.

To sum up, it is strongly recommended that don’t take any over-the-counter medicines without consulting a doctor. Also, don’t undergo any of the surgeries unless your doctor recommends a particular one. Medicines and surgery depends on the disease symptoms.
